Of course, I decided to only list horror films, or at least movies that have scary elements. (Although, I could have easily filled it with non-horror choices, too.) A couple of my picks are cheesy beyond belief (Queen of the Damned and Lair of the White Worm, I'm looking at you). But I love 'em anyway.

And for a couple choices, I had zombies on the brain (never a good idea). Except for the letter Z, surprisingly enough. Anyway, enough yammering. Here's my list:

A- Alien (1979)
B- Bride of Frankenstein (1935)
C- Carrie (1976)
D- Dawn of the Dead (2004, yes the remake)
E- The Exorcist (1973)
F- Friday the 13th (1980)
G- Ginger Snaps (2000)
H- Halloween (1978)
I- Interview with the Vampire (1994)
J- Jaws (1975)
K- King Kong (1933)

L- Lair of the White Worm (1988)
M- Manhunter (1986)
N- Night of the Living Dead (1968)
O- Open Water (2003)
P- Prom Night (1980)
Q- Queen of the Damned (2002)
R- Rosemary's Baby (1968)
S- Se7en (1995)
T- The Thing (1982)
U- Underworld (2003)
V- Vacancy (2007)
W- Wizard of Oz (1939)
X- The X-Files: Fight the Future (1998)
Y- Young Frankenstein (1974)
Z- Zodiac (2007)

The Rules
1. Pick one film to represent each letter of the alphabet.
2. The letter "A" and the word "The" do not count as the beginning of a film's title, unless the film is simply titled A or The, and I don't know of any films with those titles.
3. Return of the Jedi belongs under "R," not "S" as in Star Wars Episode IV: Return of the Jedi. This rule applies to all films in the original Star Wars trilogy; all that followed start with "S." Similarly, Raiders of the Lost Ark belongs under "R," not "I" as in Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. Conversely, all films in the LOTR series belong under "L" and all films in the Chronicles of Narnia series belong under "C," as that's what those filmmakers called their films from the start. In other words, movies are stuck with the titles their owners gave them at the time of their theatrical release. Use your better judgment to apply the above rule to any series/films not mentioned.
4. Films that start with a number are filed under the first letter of their number's word. 12 Monkeys would be filed under "T."
5. Link back to Blog Cabins in your post so that I can eventually type "alphabet meme" into Google and come up #1, then make a post where I declare that I am the King of Google.
6. If you're selected, you have to then select 5 more people.
And here are my five folks:
The Horror Queen
May at Distressful Thoughts
Lightning Bug at The Lightning Bug's Lair
Bo at Last Blog On the Left
Fred at Full Moon Reviews
Tag, you're it.

The plus side of this entry is of course that it's remined me of Lair of the White Worm and Queen of the Damned while both being fairly bad films did have a couple of great scenes you could watch with the sound off!
I have a feeling I know just which scenes you're referring to.
Nice. I was hoping you would go straight horror.
Liar Of The White Worm is good and strange.
Thanks. Yeah, it's definitely different.
